A brand new year means fresh starts, big plans, (a new logo!) and the annual promise that this will be the year we finally understand each other. Spoiler: it won’t be. And honestly, that’s kind of the point.
As we roll into the new year, we’re sticking with what we do best: comparing the US and the UK, arguing over words that should mean the same thing, and discovering that sharing a language does not guarantee shared understanding.
