So remember that little wager (in Ep13) we made before the Super Bowl? You know — the one where the loser had to buy a box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates for the winner? Well… the GRITS WON. 🏆
That’s right. While the Brit was busy asking “why does the game stop so much?” and “are we sure that’s not soccer?” the GRITS confidently declared victory — and true to his word, the Brit arrived bearing a box of Ferrero Rocher, proving that even in defeat, he brings snacks.
Victory was celebrated. Chocolates were presented. The Brit insisted this was a “very generous and sophisticated gift,” while the GRITS graciously accepted her prize and reminded him she now owns bragging rights and hazelnut confections.
Lesson learned: never bet against a Southern woman during Super Bowl week. Especially when chocolate is involved.
